I’m good at listening.
Not just hearing—but truly listening.
Listening to what’s said, what’s unsaid, and what’s trying to rise to the surface.
I believe God gave me ears for more than sound. He gave me discernment—to hear the truth underneath the words, to hold space for people in pain, and to offer presence, not just advice.
Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours listening to others share their stories—honestly, vulnerably, sometimes even broken-heartedly. People have always come to me with their questions, their choices, their challenges. Not because I had all the answers… but because I listened.
And I’ve always been curious. Curious about people.
Why do we do what we do? How do we become who we are? What do we need to grow, shift, and heal?
Eventually, people started asking me to help them make decisions—or at least show them options. At first, I didn’t have the answers. But I held the space.
Then I found coaching.
Through studying the art of coaching, I discovered that the two most powerful tools a coach can possess are:
- Deep listening
- Asking the right questions
These skills don’t solve problems for others. They help people solve problems for themselves.
They lead to clarity.
To confidence.
To transformation.
And this is the work I love—holding space, asking powerful questions, and watching people step into their own answers.
